In order to get experience with getting PCB's produced externally, I designed a super low tech "gameboy". The board is designed to be a DIY kit (similar to Velleman kits) so only easy to source through hole components are used.

The gameboy uses an arduino in combination with shift regsiters to control the 10X14 led matrix display and the 7 segment scoreboard. Currently the gameboy only runs snake, but there is plenty memory on the arduino left for more games!
